For those based in Tasmania, why not get out and explore the stunning Tasman Peninsula and delve into the stories and the history of Port Arthur Historic Site.
It will reopen daily from 10.00am until 4.00pm from this Friday 3rd July, 2020.
Port Arthur Historic Site has so much space to explore and is opening as many historic house museums as possible. Some buildings have been undergoing important conservation works during the recent closure. The complimentary introductory tour and harbor cruise are both available throughout the day. Additional tours including the new Escape from Port Arthur Tour and the exclusive Commandant’s Carriage Tour are also available.
Visitors are encouraged to book tickets online in advance to ensure entry and tour availability at preferred times. To welcome visitors back, Port Arthur is offering free entry for children until 31st December.
