Cultural Attractions of Australia is pleased to announce the appointment of new Executive Officer Annabel Sullivan.
Annabel takes the reins following a successful formative two-year phase since this collective of iconic cultural attractions launched with the mandate of presenting the best of Australia’s cultural offering to the world.
She brings 30 years’ sales, marketing and senior management experience within the tourism and business events industry to the role. Annabel began her career with Tourism and Events Queensland and has since worked for Qantas Australian Resorts, P&O Australian Resorts, Voyages Hotels and Resorts and over eight years as Director of Brisbane Marketing Convention Bureau as well as being a sessional lecturer for The University of Queensland’s tourism department.
She has studied business majoring in marketing and completed training in B2B digital marketing, social media strategy, management and business performance. Throughout her career she has taken on several voluntary roles including Chair for the Bureau Exchange group as part of the Association of Australian Convention Bureaux, committee member of the Australian Association Project and a member of The University of Queensland’s Tourism Industry Advisory Board.

“I would also like to thank Jane Ross, our outgoing Executive Officer, for her leadership and commitment over the past two and a half years. Jane steered Cultural Attractions of Australia to launch in 2019 and has since grown our membership, profile, relationships and product offering across the travel trade and industry, internationally and domestically. Jane leaves a strong legacy and we wish her all the very best as she continues to build on her career-long contribution to the arts and cultural tourism sector.
