Your journey starts in Naala Badu, the Art Gallery’s newest building, showcasing contemporary Australian and international art.

Take a moment to appreciate the glorious Sydney harbour views over Woolloomooloo before entering Yiribana Gallery – the Art Gallery’s dedicated space for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art – to encounter the depth and dynamism of art practice across Indigenous Australia.

What better way to experience Australia’s renowned coffee culture than with beautiful views of Naala Badu and Sydney Harbour at MOD Dining, one of the Art Gallery’s signature restaurants. Have your coffee or tea with a sweet treat, savouring tastes of Australian flavours before moving on to Naala Nura, the Art Gallery’s original sandstone building.

As you tour across the two buildings, your expert gallery educator will share the stories, histories and cultural significance of the works on display, offering deeper insights into the art of Australia and its diverse voices.

For groups over 15pax, or those with preferred departure times other than 9.30am, we can offer a 60min private Australian Art Stories tour which does not include the tea & coffee stop at MOD Dining, or members benefits for the day.

9.30am – 75min Australian Art Stories: $70pp or $1050 buy-out, shared or private tour available.

11.30, 1pm, 2.30pm – 60min Private Australian Art Stories Tour: $55pp, $550 buy out option for 1-10pax. (alternate times available on request)

However Cultural Attractions of Australia does give you the opportunity to provide to us some of your personal contact information in order to interact with you and with our member attractions.
