Your journey begins at dusk in the National Sculpture Garden, with our Gallery guide, in front of one of the Gallery’s newest acquisitions Ouroboros, a four metre high immersive public sculpture by Australian artist Lindy Lee.

See this extraordinary work transform from day to night, illuminated by light beams emanating from the thousands of perforations on its surface, and learn about its extraordinary creation and journey to Canberra.

Then step into Within without, a major Skyspace by American artist James Turrell, and one of his largest and most complex to date. Experience how the Skyspace viewing chamber affects the way we perceive the sky and how light is Turrell’s medium.

After the art, indulge in a private dining experience by Trippas White Group overlooking the Skyspace Gardens.
Enjoy a welcome drink and canapés on arrival, followed by a three-course dinner featuring local seasonal produce with matching wines. Then complete your night with a special gift of art, featuring icons from the National Sculpture Garden.
