Hosted by one of the Gallery’s senior curators, guest will enjoy a unique opportunity to engage in intimate discussions and enjoy up-close encounters with artworks in the Yiribana gallery, where a world-renowned Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art collection is housed.
Guests will then be treated to the Warakirri dining experience: an immersive five-course degustation with a fusion of modern culinary and traditional Australian First Nations techniques within an exclusive space in the Art Gallery. Guests will savour native ingredients and paired beverages while enjoying live performances, musical storytelling and insights into Aboriginal culture and cuisine shared by Sharon Winsor. Sharon is a proud Weilwan woman, a trailblazer in Aboriginal food, and founder of Indigiearth, one of Australia’s leading Aboriginal owned businesses.
The Warakirri dining experience can be tailored for intimate and large groups of up to 250 guests.
